(Filters do not control the brightness or contrast of actual videos or pictures. ) IMPORTANT: To apply an LCD Glare Shield filter, the feature must be turned on in the Settings menu (see page 11). If desired, use video editing software on your computer to join videos. ■ Ensure that the lens is clean. ■ Ensure that the Focus switch is set to Normal (or to Close-up, if taking close-up videos/pictures). ■ Turn on Digital Image Stabilization (see page 11). ■ When using a tripod, turn off Digital Image Stabilization. Videos are in low resolution and/or are not saved. ■ If no card is inserted and the camera is powered by the AC adapter, then videos are taken in low resolution and are not saved.
