Angle of Operation This engine will operate continuously at angles up one minute or less. Oil level must be at FULL mark on dipstick. Refer to the operating instructions of the equipment this engine powers. Due to equipment design or application, there may be more stringent restrictions regarding the angle of operation. NOTE: Do not operate this engine continuously at lubrication. Maintenance Maintenance, repair or replacement of the emission control devices and systems, which are done at the customers expense, may be performed by any nonroad engine repair establishment or individual. Warranty repairs must be performed by a Kohler Authorized Service Center. Required maintenance procedures should be performed at the frequency Overheating To avoid engine damage due to overheating remove WARNING: Hot Parts!Engine components can get extremely hot from operation. To prevent severe burns, do not touch these areas while WARNING: Accidental Starts Accidental starting can cause severe injury or death. Before working on the engine or equipment, disable the engine by disconnecting the spark plug lead. Oil Level Check The importance of checking and maintaining the proper oil level in the crankcase cannot be overemphasized. Check oil BEFORE EACH USE as follows: 1. Make sure the engine is stopped, level, and cool so the oil has had time to drain into the sump. keep dirt and grass clippings out of the engine. Oil Fill Cap/Dipstick the F or FULL mark on dipstick. Always check the oil level with the dipstick before adding more. NOTE: To prevent extensive engine wear or damage, always maintain proper oil level in crankcase.
