[. . . ] User guide The Konftel 200W conference phone English Conference phones for every situation This product is equipped with OmniSound®, the crystal clear sound. DECT conforms to the GAP standard DECT ­ Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephone. DECT incorporates encryption for maximum call security. GAP (Global Access Profile) ensures the interoperability of DECT equipment of different manufacturers. The ring tone can be turned off by selecting the symbol that shows a crossed-out bell. The selected setting is saved. Done Press OK. ADJUSTING DATE AND TIME Press the MENU key. Select "Date and time" using the Up/down key. Press OK. The current date and time appear in the top of the display. The two-way arrow then moves to the month. The selected setting is saved. Change the date using the Up/down key and confirm Change the month and confirm with OK. Done 14 SETTINGS CHANGING LANGUAGES Press the MENU key. Select "Language" using the Up/down key. Select the language you require using Up/down. English Press OK. Done The selected setting is saved. ADJUSTING KEy TONE You can select whether or not you want a tone to be heard when you press a key. Note that this setting does not affect the key tone you hear when you dial a number. Keypad tone Press the MENU key. Select "Tools" using the Up/down key. Press OK again to confirm Keypad tone which is the first option on the menu. Off Done Select On or Off using Up/down. Press OK. The selected setting is saved. 15 SETTINGS SELECTING A DECT BASE STATION Use this option to choose one of the registered base stations. You can also let Konftel 200W automatically select the base station with the strongest signal. See page 6 for instructions on how to register with a new base station. Base Press the MENU key. Select "Tools" using the Up/down key. Select the menu Base using the Up/downkey. Press OK. Base 1 The current base station (e. g. option Auto using the Up/down key. Look through the registered base stations and the Auto Auto will automatically select the base station with the strongest signal. The chosen option is marked with a tick. Press OK. Search The conference unit will now search for the selected base station. If the base station is found, the word Done will appear in the display. [. . . ] Adjusts the volume, goes through the phonebook and the menus. This works in the same way as the handset key when a menu is not active.
