To ensure high quality copying performance and to prevent premature wear and failure of precision parts. and components, periodic cleaning and routine adjustments should be scheduled. [. . . ] Setting up a group uses a phonebook cell in the same manner as an Individual number, thus reducing the total number of available phonebook cells. You may create any number of groups provided there are cells available to be assigned. Each group may contain up to the total number of Individual cells that have been defined. For example, if you have entered 235 Individual cells then you may program up to 15 groups each containing some combination of 235 individual numbers.

Setting up a Group

group by following the steps in the "Setting up the Phonebook" section on page 90.

Using the One-Touch Keys or the Speed Dial key, select the Individual phonebook cells you wish to include in the group. When cells are selected for a group, they will be displayed in a list on the LCD screen. You may scroll through the list using the left and right arrow keys.
10 Repeat step 7 until all phonebook cells have been selected for the group. 11 When all the phonebook cells have been entered, press Enter.

12 Enter a name for your group using the One-Touch Alphanumeric keypad. 13 Press Enter.
Editing a Group
Changes can be made to the group by repeating the Setting up a Group procedure. Select the group you wish to edit by pressing Menu and then 222 from the number key pad. Then select the phonebook cell for the group you wish to edit. To add a new cell to a pre-existing group simply press the One-Touch key for the cell you wish to add or use the Speed Dial Key to specify the cell desired. To remove a phonebook cell from a pre-existing group, use the left or right arrow keys to position the cursor on the cell you wish to remove. Press the Backspace key to remove the cell. You can move information from 1 cell to an empty cell using the procedure described in the "Editing and Reorganizing the Phonebook" section on page 94.

The One-Touch Keys on the Konica Fax 9825 may be programmed to perform the following actions: Dial a fax machine or a group of fax machines Attach a Document (attach a stored document to an outgoing fax) Delayed Start for current/next job Issue a Dial Option command
The One-Touch keys are programmed using the Fax menu. The default setting for all the One-Touch keys is Directory Cell. This setting links each One-Touch to it's corresponding Phonebook Directory cell.
NOTE: Speed limit options do not apply to V. 34 fax transmissions.
Programming One-Touch Keys for Phonebook Dialing
The One-Touch option Dial a phone number programs the One-Touch key to dial the corresponding Phonebook Directory entry. This is the default setting for all 70 One-Touch keys.
