Rev. / Di250f/Di350f 5-3 5 5. 4 Mailbox Reception Reception This function is used to receive a document in a mailbox. This is helpful, if only a specific person should be reading the message. However, both machines must be of the same type. 1 Press [ACTIVITY LIST]. 2 Press [BOX]. 3 Select the required document using the arrow keys and press [PRINT] to print the document, [DEL. ] to delete the document or [FORWARD] to bypass the document. 4 Press [ENTER]. 5-4 Di250f/Di350f Rev. / Reception 5 5. 5 Polling Reception The polling reception function is used to poll documents from other fax machines as long as the documents have been placed either in the feeder or the memory of the remote fax machine. 1 2 Press [FAX] on the control panel. Press the [FAX MENU], [APPL. ] and [POLLING RX] tabs. 3 Select the destination using the numeric keypad, one-touch or speed dial. 4 You may also enter the time of reception. 5 Press [START] and [ENTER]. Rev. / Di250f/Di350f 5-5 5 5. 6 Confidential Polling Reception Reception This function is used to poll documents from another machine, as long as the documents have been stored in the relevant box. 1 2 Press [FAX] on the control panel. Press the [FAX MENU], [BULTN:] and [RETRIEVE] tabs. 3 Select the destination using the numeric keypad, one-touch or speed dial. If you dial using the one-touch or speed dial, the F Code must already be stored. 4 Use the numeric keypad to enter the telephone number and press [F CODE]. 5 Press [F CODE (SEP. )].
