The "APS" feature can be used only in simultaneous conjunction with "90° Rotation". Di750 4-57 4 Combination: 90° Rotation and AMS The following situation occurs: G G Basic Functions You copy an A4 original lengthwise. However, only A4 copy paper is loaded crosswise (R) in the copier. The copy image is rotated by 90° automatically. As such, it fits 1:1 onto the copy paper. If you use the "AMS" feature alone, the copy image is reduced in size so much that it will not fit onto the A4 copy paper crosswise without image loss. 90° Rotation and Only AMS AMS Original Copy paper The following situation occurs: G G You copy an A4 original crosswise (R). However, only B5 copy paper is loaded lengthwise in the copier. The copy image is rotated by 90° and shrunk automatically. If you use the "AMS" feature alone, the copy image is reduced in size so much that it will not fit onto the A4 copy paper lengthwise without image loss. In conjunction with the 1>2 (duplex) function, 180° rotation ensures that every second original page is aligned correctly when printed onto the back of the previous page. In conjunction with the 2>1 (simplex) function, 180° rotation ensures that separate back pages are aligned correctly when output. Select from these choices: G G G Normal Good for most copy jobs. High Provides sharper images than "Normal" but requires a lot of memory. Very High This offers very high-quality copies (for example for photographs) but requires a lot of memory (cannot be combined with other features that also require significant memory). 600 dpi Provides high-quality copies, requiring more memory than "High".
