[. . . ] 4460-7705-01 FP-1 FILM PROJECTOR *Please use this manual when the Film Projector is installed in CF910 Color Copier. i Thank you for choosing Minolta. This operator's manual explains how to operate the Film Projector. It also gives some troubleshooting tips as well as general precautions to be observed when operating the Film Projector. To ensure the best performance and effective use of your Film Projector, read this manual carefully until you familiarize yourself thoroughly with its operation and features. [. . . ] If the Projector is jolted (opening and closing a door or cover will produce a shock), especially after shading, the Projector is unable to project the correct image. · If the Panel Reset key is pressed while you are using the Projector, it cancels all functions set for the Projector. · Keep the Film Standards, Filter, Lens, Holders, Mirror Unit, and Original Glass away from dust and dirt. Dust and dirt on any of these parts can make the copy look dirty. Operation Flow Operation Flow Setting up the Projector. On the Basic screen, touch the Projector key. Other Sizes Select the size of the film. Positive film Place the Filter (Posi) in position. Negative film Place the Filter (Nega) in position. Place the Film Standard appropriate for the film type. Touch Shading . 35 mm Film Load the film in the correct Film Holder. Other Sizes Cut out an opening of the size of the film in the Positioning Sheet and place it on the copier's Original Glass. Place the film in the opening in the Positioning Sheet. Press the Start key to start the copy cycle. To make a copy from the same film type . NOTE When placing negative film, remove the Holder in which the Film Standard has been placed. Touch Change Settings . Setting up the Projector Setting up the Projector 1 Plug the Power Cord of the Projector into the power outlet and turn ON the Power Switch. 4 NOTES · Use a power outlet with a capacity of AC 115V and 5A or more. Align the * mark on the Holder with the loading position. Top Cover 1144O215AA Push the Holder Loading Lever to the left and insert the Film Holder. Slide it up and down to align the film position. Holder Loading Lever 1144O213AA Holder Loading Lever 1144O217AA NOTE For strip film, face the front side of the film down (the side which you see film numbers reversed between right and left is facing up) and align the break of the film with that of the Holder. 9 6. Making Copies From Film <Other Sizes> Cut out a piece of the Positioning Sheet the size of the film and place it on the Original Glass.
