We recomend the use of standard chain lubrication oils whose consistency has been especially developed for use in chain saws. ­ Do not continue sawing if the oil level in the tank falls below the minimum mark (26). ­ Clean the oil fill spout thoroughly every time before adding more oil. This prevents saw dust from getting into the tank and causing blockage of the oil feed. ­ Do not fill the tank above the maximum mark. ­ To fill the tank, press in the knob (2) of the oil pump and turn to the right until the arrows on the tank and the knob match up. The knob remains down and blocks the oil feed. ­ Open the oil feed before beginning operation!Turn knob (2) to the left until the arrows on the tank and the knob match up and the knob pops up. In this position, oil flows constantly into the chain guide, even when not in use. The advantage of constant lubrication: The initial friction of the chain saw is less and the life of the saw is prolonged. Please close the tank when the machine is not in use (to protect the environment)!Oil can cause serious pollution and containation of ground water!
