INTRODUCTION The BATTERY SAVER 75 is a power supply with transfer relay. [. . . ] input power to the BATTERY SAVER 75 through the 3 wire line cord provided. The low voltage connections are made through 3 wires a. Connect the "BAT" wire to the vehicle's 12 volt system. Connect the "LOAD" wire to the 12 volt electrical loads. Connect the "GROUND" wire to the vehicle's ground or the battery (-). If done correctly, the loads should be powered from the battery when the A. C. power OFF and from the power supply when A. C. power is ON.
TEST To test the installation first remove A. C. Now determine that power is being supplied to the loads. This power should be coming through the BATTERY SAVER 75. Disconnect the "BAT" wire input and note that the loads are deenergized. Leave the "BAT"wire disconnected and apply 120 volts A. C.
