NEVER attempt to repair or disassemble the product or its parts as there is a danger of injury, fire or electrical shock. If the product becomes excessively hot, smoke appears, there is an odd smell, or any other abnormal situation occurs, there is a danger of fire or electrical shock. Turn the main switch to the printer OFF (O) immediately, remove the power plug of the printer from the outlet and contact your service representative. If anything harmful (paper clips, water, other fluids, etc. ) falls into the product, turn the main swtch to the printer OFF (O) immediately. Next, remove the power plug of the printer from the outlet to avoid the danger of fire or electrical shock and then contact your service representative. By setting up the necessary options from the printer driver, you can enable double-sided printing or set up the binding modes (binding orientation). The binding modes available with this unit are the long-edge binding ( ) and the short-edge binding ( ). Before installing (or removing) the duplexer, be sure to turn off the printer's power and disconnect the power cord plug from the AC outlet. If installed improperly, the printer placed on top of the duplexer may slide and fall off which could result in injury. 1 Remove the duplexer from the container box 2 Attach this duplexer to the back of the printer as shown in the figure.
