Use the numeric keys to enter the copy quantity. NOTE: It is possible to restrict the maximum copy quantity. Refer to Chapter 3 of the Advanced Operation Guide.

Basic Operation
NOTE: You can adjust the angle of the operation panel as shown by releasing the operation panel lock lever. When adjusting the angle of the operation panel, do not place your hands or fingers underneath the operation panel. This can result in injury.

Remove the finished copies from the output tray. The output tray can hold up to 250 sheets of standard paper (80 g/m²). However, the capacity will vary depending on the type and condition of the paper.
Caution
If the copier will not be used for a short period of time (overnight, etc. ), turn the main power switch off ( position). If it will not be used for an extended period of time (vacations, etc. ), remove the power plug from the outlet for safety purposes.
When turning off the main power switch, press the Power key on the operation panel to off ( ). Make sure that the Power lamp is off before turning off the main power switch. Turning off the main power switch before pressing the Power key to off may cause damage to the equipped hard disk.

Adjusting Exposure
Adjust the exposure automatically or manually. [Manual] is selected as the default setting mode. When selecting [Manual], follow the steps as below.

Place the originals in the document processor or on the platen. Press the exposure adjustment key ( / ) to adjust the exposure level. To use the automatic exposure mode, press [Auto]. The copier determines a suitable exposure level for copying. [. . . ] If the paper tears, remove every loose scraps from the copier inside.
