Rec Scene You can save recording settings of your preference that will suit different recording scenes or situations.
When [Scene Select] is selected: 4 Select a recording scene.
1 Select [Scene Select] or [Scene Save].
[Scene Select]: You can select a recording setting from among the previously saved settings. [Scene Save]: You can save up to 3 sets of menu settings relating to a current recording. · If you select [Scene Select], proceed to the operation of Step 4.
· When a recording scene is selected, recording-related menu settings cannot be changed. If you wish to use these functions, set [Rec Scene] to [Off]. To check the settings: On the [Scene Select] display, select a recording scene using the + and buttons, and press the 9 button. Press the 0 button to return to the [Scene Select] display. Rec Monitor Select whether or not to output audio while recording from the earphone jack. [On]: Enables the recording monitor function. Sound will not be output from the EAR jack. · When the external speaker is connected while recording, there is a risk that audio feedback will occur. On top of this, listeners are less prone to developing an oppressed or closed-in feel, or to growing tired over extended listening. Level adjustments of the EUPHONY setting can be set to four stages according to preference. [Power]: This mode focuses more on lower sound registers. [Wide]: This mode has an even more expansive feel. [Natural]: This mode achieves natural bandwidth correction and acoustical field expansion. · When using the [EUPHONY] function, the following functions are not available. · Slow/Fast speed playback ( P. 41) · [Noise Cancel] · [Voice Filter] · [Reverb] ( P. 59) · When playing back using the builtin speaker, the EUPHONY function is disabled. Voice Filter The recorder has a Voice Filter Function to cut low and high frequency tones during normal, fast, or slow playback, and enable clear audio playback.
