Its optimum s etting is when the engine performs bes t and the throttle control is in the high pos ition. If tightening it further, engine R P M will drop, leading to engine damage. Once you have found the needle valve's optimum s etting, uns crew it 10 ~ 20° for normal operation. Once the s etting for normal operation is done, s et the air/fuel mix-ure adjus tment s crew. S top the car and move t the throttle control from the idle pos i-ion to high pos ition.
