If your browser's display language is not supported, Big Disk Network administration will default to English. You can change the display language at any time by selecting a language from the menu in the upper right corner of the administration page (Fig. This can be done from the Log On page, as shown, so you can proceed from the beginning in your own language. Administration Home Page When you log into LaCie Big Disk Network administration, the Home page opens (Fig. This page contains information about the status of the Big Disk Network. The Fan Status indicator will be in one of three states: Blue ­ the fan is on and working. The 5big Network will continue to function with a failed fan, but overall system reliability is impacted. Use this page to create, edit and delete user accounts. Administrator Account Only one user can have administrative privileges for the Big Disk Network. This user's login name cannot be changed from "admin", but the password can be changed. IMPORTANT INFO: The admin user can also enter an email address to which the Big Disk Network can send messages about important changes to the Big Disk Network's status (see below).
