Introduction Thank you for your purchase of your new LaCie FireWire 400 PCI Card!This FireWire IEEE 1394a PCI Host Controller card uses the most advanced, high-speed digital technology, low-cost and high bandwidth realtime (isochronous) data interfacing between computers, computer peripherals and consumer electronics products such as camcorders, VCRs, printer, TVs, and digital cameras. FireWire is also a point-to-point interface, meaning that a FireWire device can transmit data to another FireWire device without having to go through a computer. Warranty Information LaCie warrants your PCI card against any defect in material and workmanship, under normal use, for the period designated on your warranty certificate. In the event this product is found to be defective within the warranty period, LaCie will, at its option, repair or replace the defective PCI card.
