SERIAL 2

P. N.  [. . . ] Although some devices allow sharing of IRQ's,  this is not recommended. For Serial 1,  install the jumper above the number corresponding to the desired IRQ,  so that it covers the pin in the bottom row and the pin in the middle row. For Serial 2,  install the jumper above the number corresponding to the desired IRQ,  so that it covers the pin in the top row and the pin in the middle row. 1. 

Do not install more than one IRQ jumper per serial port. 

Parallel Configuration
Determine the number of parallel ports installed in your system. Each parallel port will have an unique "LPT" designation. Configure the port of the 2SP550 for an unused LPT address (e. g. If you have a parallel port installed as LPT 1 using hexidecimal address 0378,  configure the 2SP-550 as LPT 2 using address 0278h). Configure the parallel port for an unique IRQ,  if required.
