So that you can use them properly, we recommend that you first of all read these instructions. To compensate for individual vision defects when viewing without glasses, the button for diopter compensation (7) is used additionally. Cover the right lens or close your right eye. Press the diopter compensation button and then use the focusing dial to bring the same viewing point into focus for the right eye. Look through both lenses in turn and check whether the left and right images are in focus at the same time. The set value can then be read on the diopter scale (2a). If different individuals use your Leica Ultravid compact binoculars you should memorize your personal diopter scale setting. This allows you to set your personal value quickly at any time.
