Click the Menu button from the toolbar and select "Channel Surfing" in Channel Setting option. Multi-screen Preview Click the Page Up/Page Down button as illustrated to preview the next set of channels. Click the selected channel to watch the program of the channel in full screen. In multi-screen preview, each channel is mute. Edit Channel Click the Menu button from the toolbar and select Edit Channel in Channel Setting option. Lenovo 3000Q User Guide 31 Edit Channel You can move channel up or down. You can delete channels check a channel. Edit Channel Select an operation in the left tooi bar to finish editting channel. Picture in Picture Feature It enables you to watch the program of two channels at the same time - you may watch the program of one channel and record the program of the other channel simultaneously. 32 Lenovo 3000Q User Guide Click the Picture in Picture button from the menu bar within TV, the TV Program window of another channel will be opened in the lower right section of the screen. Now the borders of the window are in yellow ­ indicating that it's in focus, operations on screen menu and remote control apply to this window. You may switch channel and perform other TV settings. By clicking the Record button from the menu bar, you may record the program of another channel while watching the program of the main channel. Simply click the play screen of the large window if you need to switch the setting focus back to it. The borders of the small window are no longer in yellow ­ indicating the focus has been switched to the large window. You may switch channel and perform TV settings. Schedule Here you may set the channel whose TV program is to be saved in the specified time period and how long the program is to be saved. Click the Menu button from the toolbar and select the "Schedule" button to set up the saving schedule for the channel. Note: When you have set up Subscribed Recording, leave the computer in running status in the time period of subscribed recording. Click the Menu button from the toolbar and select Recording Settings to set the recording properties. Display Settings You may adjust the watching options (brightness, contrast, etc. ) by yourself. Click the Menu from the toolbar and select Screen Settings in the Settings menu to adjust screen settings. Signal Here you may adjust the signal source content for the video. Click the Menu from the toolbar and select Signal Settings in the Settings menu to adjust sound effects, standards and source for the signal source. Note: When recording programs, TV is the only supported video source ­ programs with other video sources cannot be recorded. 34 Lenovo 3000Q User Guide You may perform Auto Search in the Channel option of the Settings menu if you want to re-search for the channels. Volume down Record Stop Channel Down Channel recall OSD Menu Volume up Delayed Play Mute Channel Up Snapshot Note: Introduction of Delayed Play feature in the TV module of the Digital Media Platform: You may press the Delayed Play button when you have other things to do while watching TV; the program will continue from the point it paused when you come back and press the Play button - you will not miss the part during your absence. You may catch up with the normal progress of the program by pressing Fast Forward button. Audio Setting If you hear abnormal sounds, we recommend you to set the audio as following: Double-click the audio icon in the notification area. Click Options and select Properties from the Volume Control menu that pops up. Check Mute for the Stereo Mix option. 36 Lenovo 3000Q User Guide 3. 1. 2 Update Media Library To play the pictures, music and videos on the Digital Media Platform, you have to load them from your hard disks into the media library. Do the following: Step 1 Select System Settings on the main screen of Digital Media Platform. Step 2 Select Update Media Library. Step 3 Select the hard disk and folder that the media files reside. Now you can enjoy the media files on the Digital Media Platform. 3. 1. 3 Video Play videos stored in the computer and video CD/DVD. Launch You can launch the Video by selecting Video from the Digital Media Platform. 38 Lenovo 3000Q User Guide Play Videos It lists all videos in your hard disk and optical drive. Select and check the video to play, and then click the Play button to play the selected video. Play All Videos Check All Videos if you need to play all of the videos. When you click the Play button, all videos will be played in sequence. My Favorites: It saves your preferred videos. You may check the video and select Add to Favorites to add it to My Favorites.
