4. When speaker fits over the rails, lower the speaker as shown in FIG. 2, and make s ur e t h e ta b s s na p i n to th e s pe a ke r box (locks in the back). 5. Repeat above steps 1 to 4 for the left speaker box.

6. Carefully unwind the speaker wire from behind each speaker box and plug the right plug into SPEAKER JACK R, also plug the left plug into SPEAKER JACK L (as shown in FIG. Wrap the remaining wire behind each speaker box.

NOTE: This set can be used with speaker boxes attached to the main set or separated, just make sure both speaker plugs are plugged into the jacks.
To remove the speakers, press the lock tab and raise the speakers.

Press the POWER button, the POWER/ BATT. lamp will be steadily on.

Open the CD DOOR by pressing PUSH/ OPEN area and push a CD disc down onto the center spindle. The label side of the CD should face upward.

Close the CD door by pushing it down. The display will show the total tracks of the CD.

TIP:
Press the CD PLAY/PAUSE button. lamp will be steadily on, the player plays all the tracks once.

When CD play is p au s ed , th e c ur r en t p la y in g track number will flash and no music will play. To r es um e p l ay, p r e s s th e P L AY / PAU S E bu t to n a ga in , t he tr ac k number will stop flashing and music will play. If you bump the set or the table it is sitting on, during CD play, the music will stop or skip for a few seconds. This is normal for this type of player.

Locate a point in a song
or Press and hold down while playing until you find the point. P re s s PUS H/ O PE N (press STOP first). The floating symbol " " and the current track number will show in turn in the display.

Press the RANDOM button again, the player will start playing normally.

Connect the supplied AC power cord or batteries (see page 5).

Press the POWER button, the POWER lamp will be steadily on.
Slide the FUNCTION switch to RADIO position.
Slide the BAND switch to the proper band position (AM, FM or FM STEREO) that you want.
Tune into the station you prefer using t he TU NI N G c on t ro l. Ad j us t f or th e clearest sound.
The FM STEREO indicator will light up when receiving an FM Stereo broadcast.

If the FM broadcast is noisy, slide the BAND s wi tc h f r om FM STEREO to FM. Next time you want to listen to the radio, just slide the FUNCTION s wi t ch t o R A DI O position. The player will automatically start playing the previously tuned station.
