Five Year Limited Warranty on Sealed Refrigeration System For five years from the date of purchase, when this refrigerator is installed, operated, and maintained according to the instructions supplied with it, Sears will repair the sealed system (consisting of refrigerant, connecting tubing, and compressor), free of charge, if defective in material or workmanship. This warranty covers only defects in material and workmanship. Expendable items that can wear out from normal use, including but not limited to filters, belts, light bulbs, and bags. Your model may have glass or wire shelves. Storing similar food items together in your refrigerator and adjusting the shelves to fit different heights of items will make finding the exact item you want easier; it will also reduce the amount of time the refrigerator door is open, saving energy. IMPORTANT: Do not clean glass shelves with warm water when they are cold. Shelves may break if exposed to sudden temperature changes or impact, such as bumping. For your protection, glass shelves are made with tempered glass, which will shatter into small pebblesized pieces. Use special care when removing them to avoid dropping them.
