This may cause health issues, and also it causes excessive power consumption. Keep all doors and windows closed whenever possible to keep the cool air inside the room. Prevent direct sunlight entering the room and keep the blinds and curtains closed when the air conditioner is operated. Clean the air filters regularly. Blockage in the air filter decreases air flow, cooling and dehumidification. If you do not clean air filters regularly, cooling capacity will be lowered and some of the energy you use will be wasted. Ensure that the room temperature and air flow is distributed homogeneously inside the room by adjusting the directions of the vertical and horizontal flaps of your air conditioner. Ventilate the room by opening the windows as possible, since the windows are kept closed during the operation of your air conditioner. Using air curtains on wide and large areas that the doors are kept open all the time, for example in cafeterias, patisseries etc. , will allow using your air conditioner more efficiently by reducing the electric consumption. Then, the room shall reach the desired temperature more quickly. If you will not use air conditioner for a long time, operate it in the fan position for 2 to 3 hours; this will remove the humidity inside the air conditioner. [. . . ] When the heat exchanger elements get dirty, your air conditioner will operate more to provide the required cooing/heating, thus your energy consumption will be increased. Therefore, we advise you to have your air conditioner maintained at least once a year. (Annual maintenance is out of warranty coverage. ) 11. You may lower your energy consumption by using the programming function of air conditioner. [. . . ]
