If water is fully filled the ice will not be separated well and water can be dropped to make ice lumped. NOTE · Rotating the ice separation handle before ice is fully frozen may cause the remaining water drop into the ice storage bin to lump the ice together. 12 Operation Humidity control in the vegetable compartment The humidity can be controlled by adjusting the humidity control switch to the left/right when storing vegetables or fruits. High humidity HIGH HUMIDITY CONTROL LOW LOW HIGH LOW Low humidity HIGH HUMIDITY CONTROL LOW H IGH Convert into a vegetable or meat compartment (Applicable to some models only) The bottom drawer in the refrigerator can be converted into a vegetable or meat compartment The meat compartment maintains the temperature at a lower point than the refrigerator compartment so that meat or fish can be stored fresh longer. NOTE · Vegetables or fruits are frozen if the conversion switch is set to meats compartment. So, be sure to check it before storing foods. Deodorizer (Applicable to some models only) This system efficiently absorbs strong odors by using the optical catalyst. This system does hot have any affect on stored food. Nano-Carbon Deodorization System (only for model applicable to Nano-Carbon) How to use the deodorizing system 13 Pull the right part of the cover of deodorization agent ahead and take the whole out while moving it to the right . The refreshment center can be removed by pulling it upwards. 2 NOTE · Be sure to remove parts from the refrigerator door when removing the vegetable compartment and snack corner. 17 Care and maintenance 2 Vegetable compartment cover (Applicable to some models only) To remove the vegetable compartment cover, pull out the vegetable compartment a bit to the front , lift the front part of the vegetable compartment cover as shown by , and take it out. 1 Vitamin Vegetable Room (Applicable to some models only) Firstly disassemble two baskets in the R/Room. Pull them to take out while lightly holding them up ahead Vitamin kit After taking the vegetable room, pull rear vitamin kits to take out while lightly holding them up. Warning Do not assemble vitamins kit or take care so that children will not swallow their contents. NOTE · · Vitamin kits enable to store vegetables or fruits freshly. Avoid that vitamin kits touch with water as its effect may be reduced if touching with water. 18 Care and maintenance General information Vacation time During average length vacations, you will probably find it best to leave the refrigerator in operation. Place freezable items in freezer for longer life. When you plan not to operate, remove all food, disconnect the power cord, clean the interior thoroughly, and leave each door OPEN to prevent odor formation. Power failure Most power failures that are corrected in an hour or two will not affect your refrigerator temperatures. However, you should minimize the number of door openings while the power is off.
