To Exit the Program Guide Press the BACK (1) button to return to the last program you tuned to. Timer Recording with Program Guide You can set a timer record using program guide with 8 days. 2. Select a program then press red colour (R) button. The red timer icon will be displayed and the program will be memorized by the recorder. The red timer icon disappears. 4 Operating To change guide menu The guide screen provides two search menus. Press blue colored (B) button when the Programme Guide is displayed. To navigate through programs on the Guides Use W/S/A/D on your remote control to navigate the guide screen. You can move faster through programs by scrolling page-by-page with the PR (-/+) buttons on the remote control. Each button stroke scrolls one page up or down. 38 Operating Using the timeshift function manually You can pause a Live TV broadcast, then continue watching the programme at a later time. This is useful when you receive an unexpected call or visitor while watching TV. The following are operating steps when the [Timeshift] option is set to [Manual]. 1. Press TIME SHIFT while watching a TV broadcast. The recorder starts recording the current TV programme to the HDD. 2. Press M to pause the programme your’re watching the just now. 3. Press d to resume watching the programme. 4. Press Z, it’s not turning off the timeshift function but going back to the DTV in realtime. yy Without changing a channel, the timeshift function will go on. yy When you exit from the DTV mode, Timeshift function automatically will be stopped. yy If you change the channel during the timeshift function, the unit will switch to Live TV automatically.
