For example, to find a scene at 2 hours, 10 minutes, and 20 seconds, enter "21020" and press OK( ). If you enter the wrong numbers, press b / B to move the under bar (_) to the wrong number, then enter the correct numbers.

Watching from a different angle DVD
If the disc contains scenes recorded at different camera angles, you can change to a different camera angle during playback. During playback, press INFO (i) twice to display the playback menu. Use v V to select the angle option, then use b B to select desired angle.

This HDD/DVD recorder can produce a 3D Surround effect, which simulates multi-channel audio playback from two conventional stereo speakers, instead of the five or more speakers normally required to listen to multi-channel audio from a home theatre system. During playback, press INFO (i) twice to display the playback menu. Use v V to select the sound option then use b B to select desired sound mode (3D SUR. or NORMAL).

Displaying information while watching TV
Whilst using the HDD/DVD recorder to watch TV, Press INFO (i) to display the information displayed on-screen. e a b c
Changing TV program
Use PR(+/-) on the remote control to change the programs in memory or use numbered (0-9) buttons to select a program directly. Changing program with numbered (0-9) buttons may not available when you are using digital text service.
Changing TV program with program list
You can display the TV program list using the PR LIST button and switch to other TV programs on the channel list. While watching a program, press PR LIST to display the TV program list. Select your desired channel using the v / V and press OK( ) to change the TV program.

Switching the program list
You can switch the program list to DIGITAL TV, ANALOG TV or RADIO. Press v to move the highlight position to top of the program list. Press b B to select a [DIGITAL TV], [ANALOG TV], or [RADIO]. Selected program list appears.

b If your TV is not capable of handling 96 kHz sampling frequency, set the
[Sampling Freq. ] option to [48 kHz] on the setup menu. When this choice is made, this unit will automatically convert any 96 kHz signals to 48 kHz so your system can decode them.
b If your TV is not equipped with Dolby Digital and MPEG decoder, set the
[Dolby Digital] and [MPEG] options to [PCM] on the setup menu.
