Removing the Upper Rack The upper rack can be removed to make more room in the lower rack. Squeeze the tab of the retainer at the end of each side rail and remove it. Be careful not to allow the upper rack to fall off the rails while removing the retainers. Pull the upper rack out of the slides. USING YOUR DISHWASHER To lower the rack Hold the rack in the middle of each side to support the weight of the rack, then lift the lever on each side to release the rack and lower it.
