E-6 Heating Your Room ENGLISH You must select the Heat mode if you wish to heat your room to a specific temperature. You can also select the fan speed. 1 Select the operating mode and fan speed. High indoor and outdoor temperatures If both the indoor and outdoor temperatures are high and you select the Heat mode, the fan and compressor in the unit may stop at times. This is normal; simply wait until the air conditioner switches on again. If a power failure occurs when the air conditioner is operating, the unit is switched off. When the power returns, the air conditioner starts up again automatically. A water leakage or some other malfunction may happen if the heat exchanger freezes. Higher humidity levels Water may condense on and drip from the surface of the unit if it is used for long periods. Cleaning Your Air Conditioner To get the best possible use out of your air conditioner, you must clean it regularly by two weeks to remove the dust on the air filter. 1 Before cleaning your air conditioner, ensure that it is switched off and unplugged from the wall socket. Open the front grille by pulling on the tabs of the unit. The removal of the front grille makes it easier to clean the air conditioner. After opening the front grille, lift up as much as possible, and pull down to release it. Front grille 2 3 4 5 Grasp the handle on the air filter and lift it slightly and then out to the front.
