Title Menu 1 Press TITLE. DVD Marker Search DVD Video VR +RW +R VCD RAM If the current title has a menu, the menu will appear on the TV screen. Otherwise, the disc menu may appear. 2 The menu may contain camera angles, spoken language and subtitle options, and chapters for the title. You can start playback from a memorized point. 1 During disc playback, press MARKER when playback reaches the spot that you want to memorize. The Marker icon will appear on the TV screen briefly. Disc Menu DVD 1 Press DISC MENU / LIST. The disc menu is displayed. 2 To remove the disc menu, press DISC MENU / LIST again. 2 Repeat step 1 to enter up to six Marker points on a disc. To Recall a Marked Scene 1 Press SEARCH. The Marker Search menu will appear on the TV screen. Camera Angle DVD 2 Use the b B v V buttons to select a Marked scene that you want to recall. 3 Press ENTER. Playback will start from the Marked scene. If the disc contains scenes recorded at different camera angles, you can change to a different camera angle during playback. 3 Press b / B repeatedly to select a desired angle. ip The Camera Angle icon is displayed on the TV screen when alternate angles are available. 4 To remove the Marker Search menu, press RETURN (O). Changing the Audio Soundtrack DVD Press AUDIO then press b / B repeatedly during playback to hear a different audio language or audio soundtrack if available. ote Some discs feature both Dolby Digital and DTS soundtracks. There is no analog audio output when DTS is selected. To listen to the DTS soundtrack, connect this recorder to a DTS decoder via one of the digital outputs. See page 17 for connection details. To clear a Marked Scene 1 Press SEARCH during playback or in stop mode. The Marker Search menu will appear on the TV screen. 2 Use b B v V to select the Marked scene that you want to erase. 33 PLAY BACK Operation with DVD and Video CD (Continued) Changing the Audio Channel VCD Video VR +RW +R DivX RAM Last Condition Memory DVD With a Video CD, press AUDIO then press b / B repeatedly during playback to hear a different audio channel (STEREO, LEFT or RIGHT). With DVD-RW discs recorded in VR mode that have both a main and a Bilingual audio channel, you can switch between Main (L), Bilingual (R), or a mix of both (Main + Bilingual) by pressing AUDIO. This Recorder memorizes last scene from the last disc that is viewed. The last scene remains in memory even if you remove the disc from the Recorder or switch off the Recorder. If you load a disc that has the scene memorized, the scene is automatically recalled. [. . . ] Stereo Audio Record and/or Playback is not present. Broadcast program is not in stereo format. Recorder A/V Out jacks are not connected to TV A/V In jacks. Recorder Audio/Video Out is not selected for viewing at the TV. [. . . ]
