[. . . ] · Fruit, vegetables and salad can be stored unpacked in the bins. · Reuseable plastic, metal, aluminium and glass containers can be used for packaging. · Allow hot food to cool to room temperature before storing it in the appliance. · Press the SuperFrost button 7. · Place the fresh food in the freezer. · The automatic SuperFrost system automatically switches the fast freezing procedure off after 65 hours. By activating the SuperFrost function the temperature in the freezer compartment will drop to the lowest attainable value. Thus food can be rapidly frozen to the core and the quality is preserved. You should not switch on the SuperFrost function: - when placing frozen food in the freezer; - when freezing up to approx. 2 kg fresh food daily. Cooling with fan 7 Freezing chart The freezing chart represents the frozen food and the time it can be safely stored in months. The individual storage times and whether or not the lower or upper value is applicable depend on the food quality, its processing prior to freezing, and the individual household's quality requirements. The lower values always apply to food with a high fat content. This is recommended: - in high room temperatures (approx. 30°C or higher), - if the air humidity is high (e. g. during the summer). With the fan function switched on, a uniform temperature distribution will be attained in the refrigerator compartment. To switch on Press the fan button 2 - the LED in the button will come on. Interior light Bulb data: 25 W (never use a bulb rated at more than 25 W). The voltage should agree with the details on the type plate. Reinsert the water tank and slide into the holder as far as it will go. Making ice cubes Important You can identify this drawer by its labelling "IceMaker". The ice maker is in the top left drawer in the freezer compartment of the combined refrigerator-freezer. If the water tank has not been slid right to the back, no ice cubes will be produced. Safety instructions and warnings for the automatic ice maker To start the ice maker · The ice maker is designed exclusively to make ice cubes in quantities required by a household. · The water tank must be filled with cold drinking water or sparkling drinking water (mineral water, soda water) only. To switch on: The ice maker will only work if the combined refrigerator-freezer is connected to the electricity supply. It will only make ice cubes if the freezer compartment is operating. Important · The water quality must comply with the drinking water directives of the country in which the appliance is used. · All repairs and work on the ice maker may only be carried out by customer service personnel or other trained personnel. · The first three batches of ice must not be consumed or used. This applies both to using the appliance for the first time and also to using it after it has not been used for a lengthy period of time. Do not fill with any kind of alcoholic drinks or sugary liquids. This will damage the ice maker. · Pull out the drawer. · Press the ON/OFF button so that the control lamp comes on. Note: The ice maker can only make ice cubes if the drawer is completely closed. If you do not need any ice cubes, the ice maker can be switched off independently of the freezer compartment. · Press the ON/OFF button for approx. 1 second so that the control lamp goes out.
