[. . . ] WFreezer section: The recommended temperature setting of 5°C in the cooling section will produce an average temperature of approx. In set-up mode you can set the child-proof lock and adjust the brightness of the display*: Activating set-up mode: W Press SuperFrost button for approx. 5 secs - the display shows c for child-proof lock. W Select the required function by pressing the Up/Down button: c = child-proof lock or h = brightness. W Now select/acknowledge function by pressing SuperFrost button briefly: · For c = child-proof lock, press the Up/Down button to select c1 = child-proof lock on or c0 = child-proof lock off and acknowledge with the SuperFrost button. When the symbol 6 is lit, the child-proof lock is activated. · For h = brightness, press Up/Down button to select h1= minimum to h5 = maximum brightness and acknowledge with the SuperFrost button. Exit set-up mode: W To exit the set-up mode, press the On/Off button; after 2 mins. the electronic system switches over automatically. - The normal operating mode is activated again. Freezing is finished when the SuperFrost button has gone out - the appliance is now operating in normal energy-saving mode. NB: When you press the Superfrost button, the compressor might not switch on for up to 8 minutes. This is due to the integrated rise-delay switch which is designed to increase the life span of the refrigeration unit.

Note: To save energy, "Superfrost" can be switched off before the 65 hours have elapsed by pressing the SF button again. Ensure that the temperature is at least -18°C.
You should not switch on the Superfrost function:
- when placing frozen food in the freezer; - when freezing up to approx. 2 kg fresh food daily.
Note: the fan may also run when the fan function is switched off. This is a functional feature and completely normal if the room temperature is below 18°C when the SuperFrost function is switched on.

Making ice cubes
Light-bulb specifications: 25 W (never use a bulb rated at more than 25 W). The voltage should agree with the details on the type plate. Replacing the bulb: Pull out the mains plug or remove/unscrew the fuse.
· Fill the ice-cube tray three-quarters full with water and freeze. · The ice cubes can be removed from the tray by twisting or by holding upside down for a short time under running water.
· Push the sides 1 of the lamp cover together according to Fig. · Replace the light bulb according to Fig. When inserting the new bulb, make sure the seal is correctly positioned in the socket. · Attach the cover at the rear again and lock into place on sides.

The refrigerator compartment defrosts automatically.
