Range of appliance use
The appliance is suited only for cooling food. In the case of commercial food cooling, the pertinent statutory regulations have to be observed. The appliance is not suited for storing and cooling pharmaceuticals, blood plasma, laboratory preparations or similar substances and products subject to the Medical Devices Directive 2007/47/EC. Switching the appliance on and off
Clean the interior of the appliance before switching it on for the first time (see "Cleaning").

To switch on Press the On/Off button 1 to switch on the refrigerator compartment. Press the On/Off button 9 to switch on the freezer compartment. To switch off Press the On/Off buttons for approx. two seconds.
Setting the temperature
The temperature of the refrigerator and freezer compartment can be set separately. Setting the refrigerator temperature: Press the Up/Down button 3, the LED in the temperature display 4 for the next lower temperature value will light up. Keep pressing the Up/Down button 3 until the desired value is displayed.
Connecting to the mains
Power supply (AC) and voltage at the operating point must comply with the details on the type plate, which is located inside the appliance on the left-hand side. The socket must be fused with a 10 A fuse or higher, it must be away from the rear of the appliance and must be easily accessible. Connect the appliance with a properly earthed fused plug and socket only.
Setting the freezer temperature: Press the Up/Down button 6 until the desired value is displayed in the temperature display 5. Note After a certain period of operation, the interior temperature will adjust to the value which has been set.
- Always ensure good ventilation. Do not cover ventilation openings or grille. - Do not place appliance in areas of direct sunlight or next to a stove, heater or similar object. · Reuseable plastic, metal, aluminium and glass containers can be used for packaging. · Allow hot food to cool to room temperature before storing it in the appliance.
Cooling with fan
This is recommended: - in high room temperatures (approx. 30°C or higher), - if the air humidity is high (e. g. during the summer).
With the fan function switched on, a uniform temperature distribution will be attained in the refrigerator compartment.

Interior light
Bulb data: 25 W (never use a bulb rated at more than 25 W). The voltage should agree with the details on the type plate. Replacing the bulb: Pull out the mains plug or remove/unscrew the fuse.
Bottle grid The bottle grid serves as an additional storage surface for cooling drinks.
· To remove the cover (1): put your finger behind the cover and disengage it. · Attach the cover again: engage it at the right and left and pay attention that the middle hook (4) grips over the glass plate.

Freezing
The maximum amount of food (in kg) which can be frozen in 24 hours is shown on the type plate ("Freezing capacity").
SuperFrost
· Press the SuperFrost button 7. · Place the fresh food in the freezer. · The automatic SuperFrost system automatically switches the fast freezing procedure off after 65 hours.
By activating the SuperFrost function the temperature in the freezer compartment will drop to the lowest attainable value. Thus food can be rapidly frozen to the core and the quality is preserved.
