[. . . ] Installation of the Dust Protectors, Limit Switch Harness, Traveler Carriage and Travel Bar Kit 1 Kit 2 Kit 3 for the Miracle-OneTM Gate Operator Steps 1-6 for Kit K71-50268 Steps 1-7 for Kit K71-50269 Steps 1-4 and 7-9 for Kit K71-50270 STEP 1 Dust Protector STEP 4 Dust Protector (All 3 Kits) (All 3 Kits) Place the bottom cover in the gasket seams and replace the 4 screws for Kit K71-50268 ONLY. See note below. STEP 5 Limit Switch Harness (Kits 1 and 2) Steps 5 and 6 can be skipped with Kit K71-50270 because the limit switch harness has been mounted on the new travel bar. Remove top cover and cut the limit switch wire ties. [. . . ] DO NOT replace covers at this time if installing Traveler Carriage and/or Travel Bar. Continue to next step. STEP 3 Dust Protector (All 3 Kits) Peel off tape backing and align the metal edge of dust protectors as shown below. Press metal edges firmly to form a secure bond. New Travel Bar installed in Step 9 STEP 7 Traveler Carriage (Kits 2 and 3) Remove the 2 nuts and bolts from the traveler carriage. Remove the carriage bolt from the old traveler and insert in the new traveler. Replace the 2 nuts and bolts and tighten. Old Traveler Body New Traveler Body Align the metal edges of the dust protectors with this opening in the bottom cover. Reuse Carriage Bolt Reinstall covers at this time for Kit K71-50269. DO NOT replace covers if installing Travel Bar. See reverse side. Proper alignment of metal edges crucial to avoid touching motor nuts if installing the New Travel Bar in Step 9 Installation of New Travel Bar on other side. ® TM STEP 8 Removal of Old Travel Bar (Kit 3) 1 Remove the screw in the front plastic cap, remove the 3 washers and cap. 2 Remove the blue and green wires from the plastic terminal block. 3 Remove the locking rod being careful to cover the top of the square pin with finger to keep spring inside. The spring and pin can slip out of hole. 4 Remove the back screw from the old travel bar. 5 Old travel bar is now free to remove and discard. STEP 9 Installation of New Travel Bar (Kit 3) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Remove the 3 nuts and washers from the motor support rods.
