LM21-VAS (Voice Annunciation System) INSTALLATION MANUAL
Voice Annunciation System
The LM21-VAS (Voice Annunciation System) is the newest speech module designed for use on compatible LM90 Series Release Devices.  [. . . ] The VAS can drive two speakers allowing for annunciation on each side of an opening. 

LM90 Operation
In an alarm condition the LM21-VAS,  working in conjunction with a compatible LM90 product or other electronic signalling source,  will provide a warning tone,  followed by the high quality voice warning. The LM21-VAS is programmed with two standard messages. These messages include warnings that an emergency condition exists and the door opening should be cleared for closure,  as well as a message which begins with a warning tone and proceeds with a ten second count down to closure. Custom messages in Spanish and French are available. A volume adjust is provided on the LM21-VAS,  which allows the installer to set the output level to a maximum of 110dB for noisier environments.
