Make sure the power switch on the bottom of the mouse is set to the ON position. Make sure the receiver is plugged into a USB port on the computer and the computer is on. If cursor movement on your computer monitor is slow or intermittent around a wireless network,  press the Reset button on the bottom of the mouse for 4 seconds. If none of the above has worked,  use the Logitech Reconnection Utility (works only if the software has been installed).  windows: Go to the Start Menu and select Start/Programs/Logitech/Mouse and Keyboard/Reconnection Utility.
