The TD forthefirst station appearsat the top of the screen. It's SNR is displayed directlyunderneathit. In this example, the SNR for this TD is 95, which is good. The range of SNRs is from 00 (Poor) to 99 (Good). To view anotherTD's SNR simply pressthe TD1 key. This rotates throughall stationsused in the chain. Ifthefix quality is in thepoor range, use the position information with caution. The displayedposition can and will vary with poorcrossingangles. None of the navigation displays will operate until the Iix quality is one or higher. To view the fix quality, press 5, 2, ENT. The displaywill show the following"F = 9" ifthefix quality is nine. PresstheGLR key to exit from this menu. HOW TO SAVE A WAYPOINT Waypointsare positions that you store in the LMS-1O's memory. You can then navigate to these positions. Waypoints are useful for markingshipwrecks, buoys, and otherfishingor navigational locations. The LMS-10 can store up to 100 waypoints(0-99). You can store your presentpositionin a waypoint, or enterTD's or latitude/longitude positions as waypoints. 400 SavingCurrent Position (Quick Save Feature) The LMS-10 lets you saveyour currentpositionwith only two key presses. This "QuickSave" feature lets you save the position of a wreck or otherobjectseasilyand quickly. To save your present positionas a waypoint, simplypress the STO key.
