You can control parameters on your software in a way that would not be possible on a standard dial or slider. The pressure pads can be used to make some very interesting effects. As we've seen above, each pad can be assigned an individual MIDI controller number. It is also possible to assign minimum and maximum values to the controller. As you apply more and more pressure to the pad, the value of the controller you are sending will increase, until the maximum value you specified is reached. On release, the pad will return to the minimum value you specified.
