Magellan GPS ColorTRAK 35 Sorting a Waypoint You may want to change how the waypoints are sorted. You have the options of ALPHABETIC, NEAREST and ICON/NAME. From any NAV screen, press MENU, highlight WAYPOINTS and press ENTER. Press MENU, highlight SORT WPT and press ENTER. A pop-up window will appear with options. The sorting process may take more than a few seconds to complete. Deleting a Waypoint You may find that you have too many saved waypoints that you no longer use. In this case, you can delete these unnecessary waypoints. Once these waypoints are deleted, you cannot undo this process or retrieve these deleted waypoints. From any NAV screen, press MENU, highlight WAYPOINTS and press ENTER. Highlight the waypoint you wish to delete and press ENTER. Press MENU, highlight DELETE WPT and press ENTER. Use the UP/ DOWN ARROWs to select YES or NO and press ENTER. These waypoints are connected to form the segments or "legs" of the route. There are 4 different types of routes consisting of GOTO, BACKTRACK, MOB and MULTI-LEG ROUTE. The GPS ColorTRAK holds 20 routes with 30 legs. The route function allows you to activate, create, view/edit or delete any one of the 20 routes. Creating/Clearing a GOTO A GOTO is a route which guides you from your current position to any waypoint in the receiver's memory. As an example, you can save a waypoint at your home. No matter where you go, you will always be able to navigate back home by using GOTO. [. . . ] The estimated time remaining to reach the next waypoint in a route.
