Before using battery cartridge, read all instructions and cautionary markings on (1) battery charger, (2) battery, and (3) product using battery. Use the edge fence when shiplapping (rabbeting) or cutting workpieces nearly 50 mm wide. Install the edge fence on the tool and secure it with the washer and thumb screw (A). Loosen the thumb screw (B) and adjust the edge fence until it comes in contact with the side of the workpiece. Then tighten the thumb screw (B) securely. Always insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click. If not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to you or someone around you. â· Do not use force when inserting the battery cartridge.
