FAST FORWARD AND RAPID REWIND
· It is possible to quickly find the part of a track you want to listen to. · The audio volume output by the speakers is reduced during fast forward/rapid rewind.

PLAYING THE PREVIOUS TRACK

Start playback from the beginning of the track currently being played by pressing the button during playback. If you want to play to the track before the current track, move to the previous track by pressing the button two times in succession.
RAPID REWIND
Hold down the button on the unit or the 5 button on the remote controller during playback until you find the track section you want to listen to. Start playback by releasing the button when you find the section you want to listen to.

Adjust to the frequency of the broadcast station you want to listen to by pressing either of the 1/2 buttons on the unit or either of the TUNING 3/4 buttons on the remote controller. "TUNED" lights on the display panel while receiving a broadcast station.

BASIC OPERATIONS
LISTENING TO MUSIC STORED ON A USB DEVICE
· The unit can play data files stored on a USB device in MP3 (MPEG Audio Layer 3) or WMA (Windows Media Audio) file format. · The unit can display ID3 tag information in the case of files that support MP3 ID3 Tag Version 1 if ID3 tag information has been recorded. (See page 21)

Connect the USB device to the unit.

Note: ConnecttheUSBdevicewhiletheunitisinstandby mode or when the input source is set to other than USB. Data stored on the USB device may be destroyed if the USB device is connected or disconnected while power is on and the input sourceissettoUSB.
Select a file in the folder by pressing the or § button and then the ENTER button on the remote controller to start playing the selected file. · Files can be selected quickly by holding down the or § button for 1 or more seconds.
Note: File names cannot be displayed on the display panel when searching for a file on a USB device. Onlyfilenumberswillbedisplayed.
