You may need to clarify whether the desired channel is for Cable TV or Satellite TV (DBS). If so, "CABLE/TV OR DBS: 0" will appear at the bottom of the screen. Press the Number 0 (DBS) button to select either CABLE/TV or DBS. Press the button repeatedly to switch between the CABLE/TV and DBS settings. CABLE/TV is to record a cable TV program received on the VCR or through a Cable Box; DBS is to record a satellite program received through a DBS.
