Turn out the screw (3) completely, then turn it counterclockwise until it touches the upper washer (7). From this starting position, which corresponds to "0" preload, turn in as many turns as the preload you want. Each turn corresponds to 1. 25 mm (0. 05 in. ). When supplied, Z4 is set with the minimum preload. However, springs are slightly preloaded to counteract static loads. Per modificare il valore di precarico è necessario agire sulla vite (3), interna al tappo (5), con una chiave per esagoni interni da 4 mm. Svitate completamente in senso antiorario la vite (3) quindi avvitatela fino a portarla a contatto con la rondella superiore (7); da questa posizione, corrispondente al precarico "0", avvitate del numero di giri corrispondenti al valore di precarico desiderato. Ogni giro di vite corrisponde a 1, 25 mm di precarico. La Z4 Vi è stata consegnata con valore di precarico minimo. Anche in questa configurazione la molla risulta lievemente precaricata per contrastare i carichi di primo distacco. Ruotando la vite di registro in senso orario, incrementerete il valore del precarico fino al valore massimo a cui corrisponde una compresione della molla di circa 15 mm. Questa regolazione è fondamentale per adeguare la risposta della Z4 alle sollecitazioni in funzione del vostro peso e dello stile di guida. REGLAGE PRÉCHARGE RESSORT (FIG.
