The belts have a slightly longer length; however, the number of belts remains the same at five. Belt tension is provided by a single hydraulic cylinder and tension spring. Netwrap and twine The net is fed into the bale chamber via a rotating arm operated by an electric motor and is controlled by the bale monitor. The monitor also controls the number of wraps of net applied to the bale. This efficient unit binds the bale together, keeping a perfect shape for easy transportation. A double twine unit is fitted 03 utilising a pair of oscillating arms operated by an electric motor. The system is controlled by the bale monitor and provides five alternative arm speeds for applying varying quantities of twine.
