All open documents or applications become available again when the computer is switched on. Switching off the notebook and disconnecting it from the power supply (pulling the plug of the power adapter) can prevent any energy consumption. · Notes on the ExpressCard: Never remove an ExpressCard when the system is in sleep mode. This deactivates the slot, thus changing the system configuration. This can lead to problems the next time the computer is started.
