A 13 General description Barracuda 4LP FC disc drives are high-speed, random-access digital-data storage devices designed to be used within a host system with a Fibre Channel-Arbitrated Loop peripheral interface. The drive is a component for installation in an enclosure designed for the drive. The disc drive must receive adequate cooling (refer to "Providing adequate cooling") and it must be sufficiently grounded and shielded from emissions.
