Occasionally you may hear light "spark knock" or pinging" (metallic rapping noise) while operating under heavy loads. If spark knock or pinging occurs at a steady engine speed, under normal load, change brands of gasoline. Make sure to disconnect all electrical loads from panel receptacles. Move the choke lever out to the CLOSED position. If you have manually closed the choke, move it to the OPEN position as the engine warms up. Insert the key, and turn clockwise to the "on" position. When the switch levelr is in to ON position, fuel is allowed to flow from the fuel tank to the carburetor.
