The engine is stopped by moving the ignition switch to STOP position. After lengthy use of the chain saw at full speed, we recommend to run the engine for a few seconds at idle speed before stopping it. STARTING A WARM ENGINE Check that the ignition switch is not in the "stop" position and do not use the throttle lock. Hold the saw firmly, press valve (D) for decompression and pull the starter rope.
