USING THE AC ADAPTER (INCLUDED) 1. Plug the small end of the AC adapter into the DC IN jack on the rear of the unit. Connect the other end (with two blades) into an AC outlet having 120V, 60Hz AC only.
POWER SOURCE
NOTES: · Only use the supplied AC adapter which has the following specs: DC 9V, 1500mA z. To charge the Mix Stick (DDA8040), you must first slide the Power · switch on the Mix Stick to the OFF position. Then, directly connect the player to the Audio Input plug and the USB jack and the player's builtin rechargeable battery will charge with AC adapter or USB cable. To charge the Mix Max (DMP9050), connect the player to the Audio · Input plug and the USB jack using the Mix Max adapter and the player's built-in rechargeable battery will charge with AC adapter or USB cable. While charging the Mix Max, there are two scenarios: If the Mix Max is ON while charging, the battery indicator will flash between empty and the current charge. Once the battery is fully charged, the indicator will stop flashing. If the Mix Max is OFF while charging, the screen will show an animated "Charging Battery" icon. Once the battery is fully charged, the screen will show "Battery Full". three hours to charge the Mix Stick/Mix Max battery from empty to full.

LOCATION OF CONTROLS
1. USB Jack (for Mix Stick [DDA8040] only)* 10. [. . . ] · For private listening, connect headphones (not included) to the Headphones jack located at the front of this unit.
For all other players: Insert the Audio In cable (included) to your player's Line Out or Headphone jack and the other end to the Audio Input Plug of this unit (as shown). Then, refer to the owner's manual of your player to start playback. The sound will be heard through this unit and the lights around the speakers will flash randomly.
Adjust the volume by rotating the Volume control 1 at the top of this unit and the Volume control of your player. When finished, press the Power button 2 on this unit to turn it off. [. . . ]
