[. . . ] - Make sure your battery pack/aircraft is fully charged. - Make sure the Vehicle and Aircraft are turned on with the handset controller switched to the corresponding mode. - Make sure you have installed the antenna on the handset and extended it to full length before use. If your Land Air R/CTM fails to fly/take off: - Strong winds may be preventing flight. [. . . ] If your Land Air R/CTM fails to fly/take off: - Strong winds may be preventing flight. As a general rule, the aircraft is not powerful enough to fly or take off properly under strong winds. - The wind direction may be affecting flight; try changing direction for lift off. - The perfect orientation for launching is a STRAIGHT PATH DIRECTLY AGAINST A STEADY BREEZE. The ribbon attached to the tip of antenna can help to indicate the wind direction. - For vehicle launching, make sure the vehicle maintains top turbo speed before switching from "LAND" to "AIR"mode. - Make sure the aircraft is secured to the vehicle properly via the vehicle cradle before vehicle launch. - For hand launching, hold the aircraft at the bottom clamp area (the middle of the fuselage area), press the "TURBO" button to turn on the propellers, and then throw the aircraft in a horizontal path. - Be sure to fully discharge the aircraft's battery before recharging.

- After each use, the Battery Pack may be hot. Allow it to cool for at least 20 minutes before recharging. - If the Battery Pack shows signs of leakage or erosion, do not recharge; replace it immediately. Slide the power switch on the Charging Unit to the "VEHICLE OFF" position (see Fig. 2). Slide open the battery door of the Charging Unit and plug in the 9. 6V Rechargeable Battery Pack (see Fig. 3). Slide to close the battery door to the charging unit. The Charging Unit not only provides power to run the land vehicle but also charges the aircraft for flight. Open the charging hatch on the top left side of the vehicle and turn the vehicle upside down. Slide the Locking Lever (located at the bottom of the vehicle) to the open position. Insert the Charging Connector from the bottom of the vehicle through the charging hatch on top of the vehicle (see Fig. 4). Store the Charging Unit inside the vehicle's body. Slide the Charging Unit to lock and secure it in place by turning the Locking Lever towards the battery. Turn the vehicle over, fold the loose wire and store it back inside the Charging Hatch (see Fig. 6).
