Cleaning the drum ^ The stainless steel surfaces of the drum can be cleaned using a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner. ^ Wipe clean with a soft cloth. 15 Dryer care Emptying the condensed water container Depending on the installation, the condensed water will either be pumped to a drain or collected in the condensed water container, located in the upper left corner of the machine. The container holds approximately 1 gallon of water. Should the container be full when the tumble dryer is started, or if it becomes full during normal operation: ­ The "Container" indicator will light. ^ Pull out the container slightly to the right with both hands. ^ Hold the cap open while emptying the container. ^ When the container is empty, push it back into its opening until it clicks into place. Do not drink the condensed water! 16 Quick Guide Remove this guide for easy reference Please read all instructions, especially the "Important Safety Instructions", before using the dryer. Quick Guide 1. Turn on the dryer and load the laundry 2. Select a program ^ Press the "On/Off" button to turn on the dryer. ^ Press the "Door" button to open the door. Make sure that there is enough space in the drum for clothes to tumble freely. ^ Press the e or - button until the desired program indicator lights. Select a drying option (if needed) To prevent fabric damage, check that laundry will not be caught in the closed door. ^ Close the door with a firm swing - do not push it shut. ^ A drying option can be selected or deselected with each press of the button. Quick Guide 4. Start the program ^ Press the "Start/Stop" button. At the end of a program The "Anti-crease / End" indicator will light. ^ Press "Door" and remove the laundry. ^ Press the selection button until the desired indicator illuminates. ^ Press the "On/Off" button to turn off the dryer. Quick Guide Program Normal Extra Dry When to use Available drying options Turbo, Gentle, Anti-crease For laundry to be folded and shelved immediately, e. g. For items to be left damp for ironing. Note The "Extra Dry" program should not be selected for jersey materials. Items may shrink. More Dry Normal Less Dry Hand Iron Rotary Iron If items are still damp, dry again using "More Dry". If fabrics are too damp, dry again using "Less Dry". For items to be ironed with a rotary iron. For items that do not require ironing, e. g. For items which require ironing. To prevent moisture loss, roll up the laundry until ready to iron. Wrinkle-free Available drying options Turbo, Gentle, Anti-crease More Dry Normal Less Dry Reduce load size for fabrics that wrinkle easily. Special Programs Available drying options: Anti-crease only available in Fluff, Sturdy Woolens Delicate items which allow machine drying. Program for reducing creasing in delicate items.
