Connect one end of the SCSI cable to one of the two SCSI ports on the rear panel of the QuickScan 35 and the other end to the SCSI port on the rear of the Macintosh. Plug in one end of the power cord to the scanner's AC inlet and the other end to an outlet. 11 3. INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE The QuickScan 35 comes with Photoshop Plug-in software and Utility software. If you do not have Photoshop or if you want to scan film using a fixed file size, use the Utility software. Insert the QuickScan 35 disk to the Macintosh. To install Photoshop Plug-in software, drag the Photoshop Plug-in icon into your Adobe Photoshop plug-ins folder. SELECTING THE SCAN MODE You can select any of three scan modes: Standard, Pixel, or Print modes.
