Sending video clips via e-mail
If you shoot a video clip in a low resolution format, its size will be small allowing you to send the video clip by e-mail. To send video clips via e-mail, proceed as follows: 1 2 3 4 5 6 Launch Smart Capture. The Compression Settings window appears. Choose the compression rate by moving the slider. When compression is completed, you will be asked to attach the file to your e-mail. Accept and send the e-mail.

Managing audio files with SonicStage
SonicStage lets you play and record audio CDs and import digital audio files while maintaining the copyright information of the contents. When you record an audio CD with SonicStage onto your computer's hard disk drive, the default format is ATRAC3. Other possible formats are: WAV, WMA, ATRAC3Plus. The imported data can be played on your computer or transferred to external devices or media. SonicStage converts your existing MP3, WMA and WAV format audio files into the default ATRAC3 format. To open SonicStage, proceed as follows: 1 2 3 Click the Start button on the Windows® taskbar. The list of tracks on your audio CD appears. 7 If necessary select the format and bit rate for recording by clicking the Change CD Recording Format button. 8 You can select specific tracks on your CD by deselecting the check boxes from the tracks you do not want to record. You can clear all selected tracks by selecting the empty Select All check box, and then selecting the tracks you want to record. For each song you can determine the song title, the artist and the genre. 9 Click the Rec Selection button to begin recording. When you want to record all the songs of the audio CD to the playlist, you click the Record All button. 10 When the recording is finished, the new playlist appears in the file tree view in the right pane.

When you record from an audio CD on your optical disc drive for the first time, the CD Drive Optimization dialog box appears. Click Start to verify your optical disc drive. Once the verification is performed, recording begins. You can display the name of the CD and its songs by clicking the CD Info button and after registering with CDDB.

Transferring songs (check in/out)
You can transfer songs between the playlists on your SonicStage software and external devices or media (for example, Memory StickTM Walkman, Network Walkman, CD-RW). [. . . ] You are asked if you are sure you want to recover the system. When asked to do so, remove the CD and insert the next one. Remove the CD from the drive and click Finish. Your system is restored to its initial settings and reboots automatically.
